After leaving the SIHH in 2013 to present its novelties every year since at Baselworld, the Girard-Perregaux manufacture has announced its return to the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie at Geneva starting the next edition in 2017.
If the communique is brief, the information is important: from its historic place of La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland, Girard-Perregaux has just announced its return to the SIHH from next year, thereby reviving this reference salon in the field of the high-end watchmaking.
Antonio Calce, CEO of the Girard-Perregaux watch price manufacture, explains the decision: “As a founding member of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, Girard-Perregaux naturally regains its position alongside the most prestigious brands of Haute Horlogerie.”
The next edition of SIHH will take place from January 16th to 20th, 2017 at Palexpo/ Geneva.
Girard-Perregaux is a Swiss luxury watch manufacturer that traces its origins to 1791. The history of the Brand is marked by legendary watches that combine sharp design with innovative artisanship such as the renowned Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges, presented by Constant Girard-Perregaux in 1889 at the Paris Universal exhibition, where it was awarded a gold medal.
