The first Royal Oak Chronograph was presented by Audemars Piguet in 1997, 25 years after the launch of the iconic Royal Oak.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the chronograph model, the brand based in Le Brassus created a new range of references featuring a fresh, two-tone dial design with several new yet subtle details: chronograph counters of increased size that expand at 9 o-clock and 3 o’clock, shorter but wider hour-markers, additional luminescent coating for a better readability of the hour and new typeset and transfers. Water resistant to 50 metres / 165 feet, the case has a diameter of 41 mm and it is 11 mm thick.
